Pozole


Ingredients
  • Garlic Olive Oil
  • Lemon Olive Oil
  • Oregano Balsamic
  • Salt
  • Pork Shoulder
  • 1 Can of Hominey
  • 2 sliced radishes
  • 2 cups sliced white onion
  • 1/2 head of sliced cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • Salsa
Directions
  • Heat a pot of water to boil.
  • Warm 1 tsp Garlic OO, 1 tsp Lemon OO in a pan.
  • Sear cubed pieces of pork shoulder and/or breast in oil.
  • Add a dash of salt to each side.
  • Once all sides of meat are seared, drop into a pot of boiling water.
  • Pour in a 1/4 cup of Garlic OO and 1/4 cup of Lemon OO
  • Add Hominey to the pot once the meat is fully cooked.
  • Add 1/2 cup of Oregano Balsamic
  • Season to taste.
  • Serve alongside, or add into pork and hominy prior to serving, sliced radishes, sliced cabbage, chopped onion, dried oregano, lemon wedge and your choice of salsa.
